FAQ
Why can't I rollback to a version of the Page?
You need to have edit rights for the Page to rollback.
Why can't I delete a version or an entire version range from the history?
You need to have administration rights to perform deletion from the history.
What if the Page comes from an Extension?
If a Page is provided by an extension, the first line in the History tab shows the standard version, the version included in the installed extension.
This version may differ from the first recorded version (v1.1) because the Page could have been edited before the extension was installed, or the extension may have been upgraded afterward.
What does it mean seeing “Renamed back-links” in the history?
When a Page is deleted or moved / renamed, and the “Update links” option (checked by default) is not unchecked by an advanced user from the Deletion Wizard or Page Rename Wizard, any Pages containing links to the modified Page will be updated automatically. These updates generate a history entry in the affected Pages with the summary “Renamed back-links”.
