Previous Versions of the Page
Explanation
Previous versions of the Page can be found in the History tab. By clicking on a specific version, you can view the Page as it was in that version. All previous versions are rendered in a "restricted" mode which disables script and unsafe macros to ensure no harmful code is executed:
When viewing an older version of the Page, note that editing will always open the latest saved version of the Page, not the version you were viewing. Similarly, most actions from the More Action Menu apply to the latest saved version of the Page, not to the Page version you were viewing.
However, the following actions will target the version of the Page you are viewing:
- Export
- Print Preview
- View Source
Similarly, the tabs in the Page Extra area, currently display content related to the altest version of the Page and not to the version being viewed, XWiki 18.3.0+ except for the Attachment tab which honors it.
