Steps
The mail channel carries the same events as the notifications menu and is configured separately from it, so you can follow a lot in the wiki and receive only a little by mail. Mail reaches you only once your profile holds an email address.
- Change the notification settings.
- Switch the applications you want to hear about ON in the "Email" column of the "Applications" table.
- Select how often mail is sent in "Email Frequency".
- Select how much of each change the mail carries in "Details of the changes".
- Check the next mail you receive, which lists the changes grouped by page, under a table of contents and the breadcrumb of each page concerned.
FAQ
The section says the notification emails are disabled. Why?
Because the administrator has switched notification mails off for the whole wiki, and nothing you choose here takes effect until they switch them back on.
