Steps
Each application installed on the wiki sends its own kinds of event, and you decide which of them reach you; Notifications explains how that choice combines with the places you watch.
- Change the notification settings.
- Find the "Applications" table, which lists every application that can send notifications.
- Switch an application ON or OFF in the "Notification menu" column.
- Expand an application to switch its event types on and off one by one.
- Check that an application whose event types are only partly enabled now shows a half-filled toggle.
FAQ
Why do I receive nothing after enabling an event type?
Because only events happening after you enabled it count, and because the event still has to happen somewhere you watch.
What does the "Email" column do?
It makes the same choice for the mail channel, independently of the menu; see Receive Notifications by Email.
