Steps

To insert a Macro with the BlockNote editor:

XWiki 18.6.0+ The Macro button of the formatting toolbar, the Macro selector modal and the Macro edit modal were added.

1. Type /macro and select "Macro" in the "slash menu".

   

   Alternatively, select some text and click the Macro button of the formatting toolbar. The selection only serves to make the toolbar appear: it is replaced by the Macro, not wrapped in it.

   

2. Filter the list of Macros, select the one to insert, and confirm the selection.

   

3. Fill in the Macro content and the Macro parameters, then submit the Macro edit modal.

   

FAQ

How do I change a Macro I already inserted?

Select the Macro with a single click, then click the edit button of the formatting toolbar to reopen the Macro edit modal.
