FAQ

What happens if I enable multilingual mode but don’t select any supported language other than the default one?

If you enable multilingual without choosing additional supported languages, the Wiki will technically be multilingual, but no translations can be created. All Pages will continue to appear only in the default language since no alternative languages are available for users to switch to.

How many languages does XWiki currently support?

XWiki can be set-up to support one or various languages.

XWiki has UI translations in 41 languages:

Why doesn't the Search find my translated Pages which are in a supported language?

The languages supported by XWiki refer to the UI translations, not to the Wiki (content) translations. Thus, those languages are not supported by the Search.
