MCP Server
Explanation
The MCP server of the LLM Application exposes one wiki to AI agents through a single REST endpoint, and every decision about what those agents may do is made in that wiki's administration.
Install the MCP Server comes first: it is not pulled in by any other extension of the LLM Application. Configure the MCP Server then covers the endpoint's own settings and Set Up MCP Authentication makes agents connect as real wiki users; MCP User Permissions explains what that user's rights then allow.
Writing is a separate decision: Enable Write Tools turns it on, and Write Tools Risk states what you accept by doing so. Restrict Space Access narrows what the tools may reach to the spaces you choose. On a farm, Manage Cross-Wiki Reach grants an endpoint access to other wikis, whose semantics are described in Cross-Wiki Reach.
Two References pin down the details: Tool Policies for which tools a wiki exposes by default, and Configuration Properties for every stored property.
