Steps
Change one value of a Live Data without leaving the page.
- Hover the value to change, or touch it on a touch-based device, to make the popover holding the edit action button appear.
- Click the edit action button, which replaces the value by a form.
- Change the value in the form.
- Click outside the form. The Live Data reloads and displays the new value, as follows:

How do I abandon a change I started?
Press "Escape". The form closes and the value is displayed unchanged.
Why does no edit button appear when I hover a value?
Either the source does not support updating the data, the property was declared as not editable, or you may not edit that entry.
The popover appeared when I only wanted to follow a link. What happened?
On a touch-based device, touching a link inside a property opens the popover, which then offers both the edit action and one following the link.
