The canadian-fr Confluence macro  is converted to some syntax which a standard installation of XWiki provides.

What to use in XWiki

How this macro would be implemented in XWiki and comparison with the corresponding feature

In XWiki, instead of marking parts of contents as being written in a language or another, each translation gets it dedicated page content.

See I18N.

If the Translated content support  parameter is set to true, translated pages will be produced for each such language macro present in the page and the macro is

  • replaced with its content in the translation corresponding to the language described by this macro
  • dropped an all the other translations

If the Translated content support  parameter is set to false, the macro will be migrated as a bridge named contentTranslation, provided by Book Versions.
