When installing or running XWiki, you may encounter some common issues related to configuration, networking, or the runtime environment. For example:

• errors that occur when deploying more than one XWiki instance in the same application server (for example cache or JMX conflicts).
• connection refused exceptions in the log files if you are running XWiki behind a proxy server
• SSL certificate errors. 
• "File path too long" on Windows when unzipping>>.

You can check basic XWiki settings using the Admin Tools application. Note that some features are only supported on Linux.
