Vincent Massol 220.1 3 Guidelines related to feedback:
4 * We don't have to answer feedback. It's supposed to contain information we can act on to improve XWiki. It's not a discussion. If the person providing feedback has questions or wants to discuss a topic, they should use the Forum for that.
5 * When we want to bring some explanations, we can put it below. Check the archives to find examples (e.g. "Answer from Vincent Massol (XWiki Core Dev)")
Vincent Massol 221.2 6 * Sometimes the person leaving the feedback sets an email address. If the feedback is interesting and we want feedback, we can send an email, asking for clarifications or proposing to join the forum. This should done on a voluntary basis only, and always make sure that you speak in your name and not in xwiki.org's name. If there's a need to sync between responders, please use the [[#xwiki chat>>dev:Community.Chat]].

36 > There should be an easy way for the user to see a list of pages that have been recently viewed, so that when Chrome loses the url for a Tab after a Reboot, the user has some hope of getting back to a page that was being viewed before the Reboot. If such functionality currently exists, it should be easier to find.

42 > When I try to create a template it creates the template page, but not the actual template. This is kinda odd and was confusing initially. Additionally, I love Live Data, however I struggled to undertand how I could create a class, then add an object to my page, then filter for that class in the live table. Instead of open fields for the LiveTable I would suggest some graphical selection criteria thingie, while still allowing power users to drop down to the old style / source.
43 > Love the project, keep up the good work!

49 > I use Linux and it would be great to have XWiki available as something like a Snap package. It was very confusing trying to get XWiki to run. There's no overall explanation of what a wiki requires or how it works, or a schematic of the various elements. I had to ask for help to just get it running, which I did. I had a short 15 minutes session with it before I had to go on to something else(which was wonderful, and I want more!) But then later when I came to log in again I was not able to, and have not been able to get help to fix that. So unfortunately my XWiki is not running and I can't use it.
